⌲ Systematic Problem Solving Workshop Kit

Since releasing the Problem Solver Essential Skills Series guide, I've received requests for workshop and training support materials. So, I've developed a Workshop Kit to support team training with ready-to-use materials and facilitation guidance.

The Workshop Kit enables learning and development practitioners and leaders to teach teams how to resolve challenges without external consultants. Teams work directly with practical tools to build systematic skills that reduce recurring challenges and create an action-oriented, data-enabled culture.

The workshop highlights that mastering complex problem solving isn’t about being first to apply a solution. It’s about having an orientation towards taking action, learning whatever the outcome and documenting these activities so that future problem solving efforts (by you and others) can benefit.

I designed the slides in Illustrator as I couldn't get the alignment and details I wanted in PowerPoint. The base slide design (above) is a layer in the PowerPoint file and there are two empty base design slides so that the presentation can be edited with additional information according to the trainer's needs.

• The workshop applies an experiential learning approach for participants to learn by doing with authentic problems.
